Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The Bihar ITI-CAT 2025 exam is structured offline format which is designed to evaluate foundational knowledge of a student in three core subjects: Mathematics, General Science and General Knowledge. The exam is conducted in 2 hours and 15 minutes during there are 150 MCQs (50 per subject) which totals to 300 total marks. Each correct answer awards +2 marks and exam is without any negative marking for incorrect responses. Questions are based from Class 10 NCERT syllabi so every student have equal opportunity to pass the exam. Mathematics prioritizes algebra, geometry and arithmetic; General Science covers physics, chemistry and biology fundamentals; General Knowledge covers current affairs, Indian geography and logical reasoning.

Application Process and Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility includes Indian citizens aged Minimum 14 years on August 1, 2025 (17+ for Motor Vehicle/Tractor trades). 10th Pass Students or students appearing in 10 exam are eligible to apply for ITI-CAT.
